Therapy

There are many reasons why people consider therapy. For some, the prompt might be a sense of curiosity about themselves and their lives, and a wish to live life more fully. Perhaps more often, people are facing difficulties.

I am experienced in working with client’s facing a wide range of difficulties. Some of these include:

  • Anxiety and panic attacks

  • Depression

  • Relationship and family difficulties

  • Stress

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma

  • Low self-esteem

  • Issues around sexuality

  • Issues with identity

  • The impact of discrimination and prejudice

  • Eating disorders

  • Childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect

  • Abuse

Whatever the reason, therapy can provide a safe, supportive and engaging environment in which to explore, reflect and gain greater understanding of your feelings and experience. Whilst therapy is not a quick fix, I will listen, support, and work with you to free up some space around whatever is happening for you, which can lead to greater awareness, insight, growth, and change.
